The Poem Structure
Etheree poems comprise of 10 lines with a strict syllable count. Each line increases count until the last line of 10. The format: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. We can write these poems forward or backward as long as we follow the pattern 1..10. If you’re up to the challenge, a chained Etheree can be written. It follows the pattern: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 9, 8, 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
