If you haven't read The Way of Tarot, it's worth the read. It focuses on the Marseille decks, but don’t let that stop you from reading the book. It'll open your eyes to read in ways you may not have considered.

Below, we'll cover a potential new spread derived from the book. It'll move us from the beginning of something new to the end of a cycle, the experience fulfilled, ready to ascend to the next level.

But before I do, I want to cover a few interesting key points. When reading the cards, keep in mind even numbers represent passive energy, whereas odd represents active.

When you view cups or pentacles, they're receptive, whereas the swords and wands — active energy. The action is taken to move ahead.

Also, consider the flow of energy when a card faces another; it's passing its energy forward to the next. But when looking away, it strips the energy from it.

And one last point to cover: the suits associated with their energy.

Now, let's move into the spread I'm considering to help us journey from the 1, the beginning, all the way to 10, the end of the cycle.
